“EPS - The Safe Insulation”

EPS Wall Insulation
EIFS, Stucco and Architectural Shapes
Plymouth Foam has designed products, DuraEIFS for Exterior Insulated Finish System (EIFS), Stucco and Architectural Shapes using engineered EPS to meet wall specification for these systems. Our EPS line of products can provide Continuous Insulation, High R-Value, RTA Texture (Ready to Apply) and Drainage Cavities.
DuraEIFS expanded polystyrene (EPS) can be readily fabricated into a variety of configurations to afford a higher degree of freedom in architectural design considerations. It is ideal for exterior wall installation, in both new construction and in retrofit applications for both residential and commercial applications and our DuraEIFS providing an economical alternative for traditional construction systems and materials.
Our Quality Control of moisture makes our EPS one of finest products in the industry. Our products meets or exceeds ASTM E2430, ASTM D1622, ASTM C578, ASTM D1621, ASTM E84, ASTM E96. Our manufacturing techniques reduce moisture levels and provide consistency for better coating application.

EPS Advantages for EIFS, Stucco and Architectural Shapes
Expanded Polystyrene is the number 1 insulation used in EIFS wall systems, Stucco wall systems and architectural shapes. EPS has a vast amount of advantages that provide extra value to these Systems. Plymouth Foam goes above by providing a huge product line specific to these systems.

EPS Provides Continuous Insulation
Continuous Insulation can provide even higher energy savings by eliminating thermal bridging compared to other wall systems. Our EPS insulation can be butted tightly together or one can use our Tongue and Groove or Ship Lap systems for an even tighter fit.

Best Insulation Values
There is little doubt that EPS provides the best rigid Insulation value. EPS has been proven to provide the lowest cost per r-value inch. Learn more about EPS Value

Excellent Surface Bonding
EPS has a surface that excepts bonding very well. In fact, the Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs) and the Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) industries and Packaging Industry have found EPS to have exceptional bonding capability. Learn why EPS is better than XPS

Modifying The Foam Is Easy
EPS is easy to cut, trim or modify at the job site. Using a hot knife or sharp blade can easily cut the foam. Battery operated hot knife.

Environmentally Friendly
EPS helps building saves energy which is really important for our environment. The fact is, 1 pound of EPS used as insulation will actually save 48 gallons of oil over a 50 year period. Not to forget, EPS is 100 % recyclable. Learn more why EPS is so Environmentally Friendly

Moisture Protection
EPS is a closed cell rigid insulation that has been shown to do very well against moisture. In fact, EPS has the ability to want to expel any moisture that it may temporarily absorb. Learn more about EPS and moisture

High R-Value
EPS rigid insulation has a high R-value because it maintains its R-value throughout the life of the building. Where other insulation start out higher they tend to fade die to off gassing. Our GPS insulation has an Even higher R-value. Check out our GPS insulation

Better Shapes
EPS can be cut trimmed or glue to meet almost any shape design or profile. EPS has endless design possibilities. If you can draw it, we can make it.
